Boulders Beach, or Boulders Bay, is located in the Cape Peninsula near Cape Town in South Africa. The beach is a sheltered beach made up of inlets between granite boulders. Since 1982 Boulders Bay is the home of a colony of African penguins. Other names for this penguin species are Jackass penguin and black-footed penguin.
